Prognostication of the gross domestic product

The gross domestic product (GDP) is one of the most important economic index, which presents the view of the state economics. So it is very important to find the methods for GDP prognostication and estimation according to official statistical data. An article includes the GDP increasing tendency. In 1996-2004 years in Lithuania the gross domestic product have increasing 2359.4 million Lt. The increasing speed was 76.207 million Lt. It is prognosed, that in 2005 year GDP will be 64046.7 million Lt, and in 2006 year - 680006.447 million Lt. The calculated potential increasing of GDP makes possibility to believe, that the incomes for one Lithuanian inhabitant will increase and will comes nearly ES average, if State government should be able to decrease the unemployment level and to increase the labour productivity.
