Isopiestic investigations of solid samples of CsHSO4 .2. Influence of non-stoichiometry at 298.2 K

摘要
Both stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric samples of CsHSO4 were exposed to a constant water activity (isopiestic measurements) at 298.2 K. An excess of sulphuric acid decreases the solubility, while an excess of cesium sulphate causes an increase. The water uptake follows the first-order rate law with a minimum value of the kinetic constant for the stoichiometric samples.
