摘要
The "low-carbon economy" based on low power consumption and low pollution has become an international focus, it may become an new trend which could impact the global economy significantly after the industrial revolution and information revolution. This article has reviewed and envisioned such practice on steel production, and analyzed how to make innovation on steel material based on Baosteel's own practice so as to provide material solution for down-stream sectors. By means of the distributed power generation, the residual heat and energy can be recovered. Conclusion is that accelerating the progress of eliminate backward production capacity and recorgnizating it, accelerating the speed of the layout adjustment of production capacity, improve the efficiency of the energy conversion system, speed up the construction of the steel industry chain and converse to value chain construction is the main way that China's steel enterprises must take to enhance the competitiveness in the future.
