摘要
Well packed! Core-shell nanostructures composed of ZnO particles encapsulated in an equilateral triangular SiO2 shell are reported for the first time. The quantum-confinement effects within the nanostructures can be used to tune their properties for optoelectronic applications. © 2013 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
