摘要
Soil moisture in field scale of the Yellow River irrigation area is critical to decision making for drought resistance and disaster relief. Evapotranspiration fraction (EF) can reflect the capacity of evapotranspiration and has a high relationship with soil moisture, which is one of index in common use for soil moisture retrieval based on remote sensing. In this paper, People' s Victory Canal (PVC) of the lower Yellow River was selected as study area to study soil moisture retrieval model based on EF using remote sensing. On the basis of surface energy balance algorithm for land, EF was calculated by SEBAL model using TM images and meteorological data in 2010. Field observation of soil moisture was applied to validate the soil moisture models. The model was applied to map the distribution of soil moisture in PVC. The result indicated that the empirical retrieval model was suitable for accessing soil moisture of the Yellow River irrigation area in field scale.
