摘要
Objectives: In a retrospective study we evaluated the effect of the fascial sling procedure and Burch colposuspension on recurrent stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in our patients. Methods: 39 women with a mean age of 54 years underwent a fascial sling procedure or combination of fascial sling procedure and Burch colposuspension for recurrent SUI. 33/39 women were evaluated with a mean follow-up of 31 months. Evaluation included, chart review and a questionnaire regarding symptoms of incontinence and micturition disorders. In 15/33 patients, postoperative urodynamic evaluation was performed. Results: 28/33 (84.8 %) patients were completely continent. 4/33 improved and one failed. 20/33 (60.6 %) women complained of mictional disorders such as frequency or poor stream. The post-operative urodynamic evaluation demonstrated no obstruction. In 2 patients we found residual volumes of about 150 ml. We saw 2 lesions of the bladder wall and one ureteric obstruction. Our results are compared to the literature. Conclusions: Fascial sling procedure is effective in the treatment of recurrent stress urinary incontinence. In cases of a combination of vertical and rotatoric descensus, we perform the combination of fascial sling procedure and Burch colposuspension. The complication rate is low.
