摘要
Photon scattering experiments have been performed an the nuclei Os-190,Os-192 in order to investigate low-lying dipole excitations in the energy range E-gamma<4 MeV in nuclei which are transitional between well-deformed rotors and gamma-soft nuclei. We determined excitation energies, spins, and absolute photon scattering cross sections. The low-lying dipole strength in these even-even nuclei is highly fragmented. [S0556-2813(99)02104-4].
