Optimal control and its application to computational fluid dynamics

摘要
This work presents application of Optimal Control Theory to the field of Fluid Dynamics. The governing set of equations includes Navier-Stokes and Heat Transfer equations. The basic formulation for control problem is derived using Lagrange Mutilpliers. Control values are found using Sakawa-Shindo method. To validate accuracy and applicability of current approach numerical tests were performed for three kinds of control. In all these tests objective value was temperature. First test presents control with temperature, second control with velocity, and third presents combined approach, Controlled solution was found and turned out to be adequate for these numerical tests.
