摘要
A new era of breast cancer prevention has been heralded by a study showing that tamoxifen can reduce the breast cancer rate by approximately 50%. The development of selective estrogen receptor modulators may permit improvement in efficacy, reduce adverse effects, and benefit the consequences of estrogen depletion after menopause.
