摘要：

Apologies are of great significance in Japanese communications. The present studies are mostly conducted from perspectives of socio-linguistics and pragmatics. There is seldom any research based on the resource of the corpus, not to say any research concerning the Chinese translation of apologies. This paper, taking the literary works from the Japanese-Chinese translation corpus as the subject of study, analyzes the characteristics of Japanese apologies and the problems in Chinese translation, and explores the translation strategies.
