摘要
Promoted by the development of scientific technology, online education is in full swing. It has covered all fields such as academic education, qualification certification, enterprise training and so on, especially in the field of higher education. The flipped classroom, a widely-used teaching method, means readjusting the time inside and outside the classroom and transferring the decision-making power of learning from teachers to students. Although this teaching method can promote the interest of the course and better attract students' attention, it may increase students' cognitive load and lead to an adverse influence on the teaching effect. This paper will mainly discuss how to reduce the cognitive load of college students in English learning by reasonably designing flipped classes.
