Analysis of Characteristics of Ultra-Wideband Planar Array Based on Design of Array Antenna

摘要
In order to study the AVSWR characteristics of ultra-wideband planar array, the simulations of all-metal Vivaldi antenna, which consist of the periodic boundary model and the antenna array, are finished through the commercial software. The AVSWR's result of the periodic boundary is compared with the result of the array which is obtained by calculating the coupling between elements. The result of comparison shows that the characteristics of central elements are closer to the result of ideal periodic boundary and it is feasible to use periodic boundary model to optimize the array antenna when the array's scale is large enough.
