摘要
The aim of the study is to reveal associations between the maternal depression and infant problem behavior at the age of 3 and 6 months. The study participants were 202 women and their full-term infants. Maternal depressiveness, relationships with the husband/partner, difficulties to understand infant crying reasons were measured on the 2nd-3rd day postpartum, 3 and 6 months postpartum. Results indicated the indirect associations between maternal postnatal depressiveness and infant problem behavior. The maternal depressiveness was strongly influenced by the relationships with the husband/partner, and had the direct impact on the maternal difficulties to understand infant's crying reasons. These difficulties, in turn, had the direct associations with the infants' problem behavior, both at age 3 and 6 months.
