Hall effect in three-dimensional layered structures in strong magnetic fields

摘要：
A three-dimensional electron system with a corrugated-cylinder-type Fermi surface is considered. We show that the quantum Hall effect must be observed in such a system with a smooth random potential. Our results are in qualitative agreement with available experimental data. (C) 2002 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
