A general-purpose discharge module for pumping solid-state lasers

摘要
A module for pumping solid-state lasers makes it possible to form rectangular pulses which are independently adjustable in amplitude (75-300 A), duration (50-500 mus), and repetition rate (up to 60 Hz). The module has small overall dimensions, and its efficiency exceeds >98 %; it uses a comparatively low voltage (400-800 V); and its pulse energy can be increased up to 1000 J and more.
