Experimental analysis of hysteresis in low frequency magnetic shields

摘要
This paper deals with an experimental analysis of the magnetic hysteresis measured in ferromagnetic shields for low frequency power apparatuses and systems. The performances of commercial magnetic irons produced for the magnetic circuits of electrical machines are investigated in the unusual application of magnetic shields. In this case, they work with the main component of the magnetic induction perpendicular to the surface of the shield. At the same time, the magnetic induction into the shield is lower than the usual values in the magnetic circuits of the electrical machines. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
