摘要
We present the implementation of the teaching methodology "Case studies" to learning the issue "Safety Inspection" of the subject "Occupational Safety" taught in the last year of the studies leading to obtaining a Title of Diploma in Occupational Relations. We discuss their advantages over traditional expository of lectures since this is an issue that is intended for students that apply a series of theoretical, precautionary principles and the legal rules to particular situations of occupational hazard. We have selected the case study as this is one of the most effective strategies that help bring the teaching-learning process to real situations, in which students can be seen faced in his future professional role. The item is included in the practical program of the course, and taught in a classroom seminar workshop. The paper shows the step by step-design of practical activity, how it is presented to students, how it develops in the classroom, and how it is assessed according to the following schedule: objectives, theoretical and related legislation case, problems to solve, guide to solving the case and standards for case development and evaluation. The exposed activity can guide other teachers to design materials for learning of other subjects to which they can apply the same methodology
