A MINI THERMAL LIQUID DESICCANT AIR CONDITIONER FOR RESIDENTIAL APPLICATION

摘要
This paper presents a novel mini thermal liquid desiccant air conditioner, which is featured with "no carry over", biodegradable and non-corrosive desiccant and high efficient. The mini air conditioner consisting of conditioner with an inner cooling dehumidification core (ICDC) and regenerator with an inner heating regeneration core (IHRC). The regeneration process could be driven with hot water from waste heat, solar collector and geothermal energy etc. very low grade such as 40 degrees C heat source could be used. For typical humid climate, the thermal COP of the system could over 1, and for dry climate, the COP could be over 2.
