摘要
This paper described a novel architecture to deploy remote laboratories based on Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) with the purpose of accomplish experimentations with available hardware or physical equipment's. Most of the software modules that comprise the remote laboratory are deployed in a public Cloud, with the intention of taking benefit of the features of this technology. Only the user interface and the equipment under test are not deployed on the Cloud. In addition, a wireless sensor network remote laboratory prototype based on this architecture has been constructed with the aim of carry out performance measurements. Measurement of the latency increase produced by deploying the software modules on the Cloud were performed. The equipment under test, a WSN placed on a university laboratory, and the software modules deployed on the Cloud are communicated through remote procedure calls. The users can access the remote laboratory and perform experiments through a web interface.
