摘要
Giant cell arteritis (GCA) or temporal arteritis is the most common systemic vasculitis and primarily affects the superficial temporal branches of the external carotid arteries in older persons. GCA rarely occurs external to the carotid system, and the disseminated form is rare. The imaging and clinical findings of a disseminated form of GCA with multisystem involvement, including pulmonary and renal artery thrombi, aneurysms of the coronary arteries and left subclavian artery, and fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage, are presented here. This is the first report of disseminated GCA with multisystem aneurysms, including the coronary arteries.
