摘要
The poet Manuel Altolaguirre felt an intense attraction towards theatre during the Spanish war. He became director of La Barraca, the famous student company Lorca had founded, and later of the Teatro Espanol, he took part in the writing of El triunfo de las germanias with Jose Bergamin, and he re-wrote a political drama called Entre dos publicos, which he transformed in Amor de madre, following the path of Gorki and others, maybe in order to get that material into the mould of am ideological orthodoxy from which he would repente Turing his exile years.
