The faith of Christ in the theology of St. Paul.

The Pauline concept of << faith of Christ >> is far from being widely accepted. The objections most often raised against it solely on the basis of textual analysis are notoriously inadequate. The true reason for rejecting it is the following theological option :c Jesus' relation with his Father is of an order other than ours >> (A. Vanhoye). As a result, we manage to hide one of the major elements of the cross and deprive ourselves Of an interpretative key for unlocking numerous passages, such as Rm 1,16; 3,27; Ga 3,1-2; 3,22-26; Rm 1,11-12; 1 Tm 1,4; Rm 3,25.
