Optimization of Multi-type Resource Allocation for MTO-MTS mixed production

摘要
This paper introduced two extensions of QP2LP (*Quadratic assignment Problem translated to Linear Programming) for the simultaneous resource allocation problem of multiple resource constrained production. First was QP2LP-tc method to terminate the program in a reasonable time to find a better feasible solution. Second was the Stepwise-QP2LP method for a mixed production of the MTO and the MTS products. As the result of the performance evaluations in the final wafer test of actual semiconductor factory, both methods could achieve the multi-objective goal, because those achieve better solutions under satisfying due-date of individual products by utilizing the multi-type jigs effectively.
