THE USE OF MODELLING AND SIMULATION IN THE DESIGN OF FLEXIBLE MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS

This paper presents the simulation model of the flexible manufacturing system for round shafts processing, using the Delphi software product. It can facilitate the creation of a specific object oriented database, which is useful for the manufacturing system. There have been used object, classes, and lists-type data structures. The program that has been created tip allows planning / programming and managing in real time the whole processing system. Simulation has been realized under dynamic working conditions. The evolution as a dynamic system of the flexible manufacturing system condition in time,for round shafts manufacture is described by algorithms or complex procedures, expressing us well as possible, the operation in real environment and time.
