摘要
The flexible control function of power electronic transformer (PET) makes it an energy router to serve as the distribution hub for AC/DC hybrid distribution network. As a significant cause of power grid faults, the lightning performance of distribution network needs to be studied. Based on Dynamic Lightning Protection (DLP) mode, this paper proposes an implementation framework that can be applied in the intra-day scheduling process. The power flow model of PET embedded AC/DC hybrid distribution network is given, which is the basis of steady-state analysis. A quantitative assessment method of lightning impact on distribution network based on risk theory is established. The DLP mode is then implemented by adjusting power flow distribution through PET to reduce the impact of lightning on distribution network operation, which is essentially an optimal power flow problem.
