摘要
In this paper we propose and evaluate a new wide class of signal processing schemes for bandwidth-efficient OFDM transmission with low envelope fluctuation. This class is somewhat related to a previous class recently proposed by the authors, since it also involves a nonlinear operation in the time domain and a linear, filtering operation in the frequency domain. The paper includes an accurate statistical characterization, by analytical means, of the transmitted frequency-domain blocks when a high number of subcarriers is assumed. A set of performance results is obtained and discussed with the help of this statistical characterization tool.
