Formation of Innovative Development Level of the Industrial Enterprise for Industry 4.0

The trend of world economy globalization generated the strong need of industrial enterprises for innovative development under conditions of the fourth industrial revolution. Being one of the key factors of economic growth, innovative development contributes to the transition of industrial enterprises from industrial to post-industrial type.Currently the development of innovative strategies for industrial enterprises faces the problem of forming a mechanism to ensure the adequacy of the external and internal environment. One of its key factors is the evaluation of the current level of innovative development of industrial enterprises. The innovative strategy choice of a particular business entity depends on the current state of its innovative development (the need for innovation). The research is aimed at developing an algorithm and a method for evaluating the current level of innovative development of an industrial enterprise based on a quantitative evaluation of the integral indicator of innovation implement in various fields of activity of an enterprise. Assessment of the acceptability of the current level of innovation development is formed as an integral indicator of the efficiency of an industrial enterprise in the external environment compared to its competitors.The paper reveals correlation between integral evaluation of economic efficiency of the industrial enterprise and integral assessments of innovative development levels of its various fields of activity. The study advances the approaches to innovative development level of an industrial enterprise with variability of the indicators involved.The model proposed can be supplemented by factors of external and internal environment regarding to a particular industrial enterprise.
