Crystal Structure of Zinc(II) Complex Containing Pyridine and Its Catalytic Activity of Hydrolysis of p-Nitrophenyl Phosphate

摘要
A zinc(II) complex [Zn-2(L)Cl-3](2)[ZnCl4] center dot CH3CN center dot CH3OH center dot 3H(2)O (L=1,1,4,7,7-Pentakis (2-pyridyl-methyl) diethylenetriamine) has been synthesized and structurally characterized, and its catalytic activity was investigated by using p-nitrophenyl phosphate(PNPP) as the substrate. The results showed that one zinc(I)) of the complex was coordinated in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, and the coordination geometry around another zinc (II) was distorted octahedron. Its catalytic hydrolysis of PNPP was consistent with Michaelis-Mentent model. Several kinetic parameters V-max, K-m and k(cat) were examined under different conditions, and maximal catalytic activity of zinc(II) complex was observed at a temperature of 30 degrees C and pH=8.0.
