Change comes from inside: The process of change in the course of the psychoanalytical psychotherapy of a psychotic child

This paper, which is based on five years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy with a psychotic boy enables us to see how the encounter of two psyches can create changes, how identifications with the analyst's psychic work leads the child to take up << cultural work >>, << Kulturarbeit >> (Freud) implying psychic play. The analyst's work of representation leads the child towards experiencing the pleasure of << looking at himself >>, enables a decrease in persecution anxiety and hence the elaboration of certain internal anxieties.
