摘要：
This research aimed at the development of a new vehicle intelligent transportation system (ITS) based on information collection by AT89C52 single chip microcomputer (SCM) and information transmission by GPRS. The author described the design scheme and system structure of both information collection and wireless transmission. The author also illustrated the specific design process of the related hardware and software. In conclusion, the developed system could monitor highway operating conditions in real-time and provide technique support for the management of intelligent vehicle transportation system.
