摘要
India is a vast country with various environmental conditions. Some areas are prone to floods and heavy rains while some others are facing drought. The monsoon which is the prime source of rain in India is unpredictable and as such it is not currently found possible to distribute the rain water over the whole country. It is also found that some areas are adversely effected by heavy rains which is causing increase in pollution. This is likely to deteriorate in the coming decade.
