摘要
The new energy vehicle (NEV) industry has been rapidly developing since recent two years as a result of being highly emphasized by China. First, the paper developed a value chain model of NEV based on the basic value chain theory and general model by considering upstream and downstream key parts and their traits; Second, it proposed the contents about analyzing NEV value chain, regarded rare earth, lithium resources, battery and electrical motor as Chinese advantages, and recognized three development trends, that is vertical integration, electrification and electrification of components, and use of light-duty or composite materials; Thirdly, it analyzed the differences between NEW and traditional vehicle (i.e. ICE) and their contributing factors; Then, the article built and looked at the lithium battery value chain as the core of the NEV value chain. Finally, it put forward several brief proposals, expecting the enterprises in the NEV value chain to find their right positions and breakthroughs create advantages and push forward the NEV industry.
