THE INFLUENCE EXERTED BY THE LEISURE SERVICES OVER THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF A MOUNTAIN TOURISM RESORT

The recreational services represent the basic motivation of practicing the leisure tourism to a certain destination. A significant part of the trip components, such as the transport and accommodation, is represented by requests that derive from the touristic consumer desire to enjoy in terms like "things to see and do" what the chosen destination offers. Thus, the leisure consists in a. focus. of the recreational and educational activities carried out both by the one-day visitors and by those who plan to stay longer. This article aims to make a brief retrospective of the content of the leisure tourism, highlighting the necessity of leisure practices development within the mountain resorts. For the accomplishment of this action, previous investigations of the authors have been supplemented with the organization of a marketing quantitative research on Poiana Brasov resort, for the essential purpose to identify the Romanian tourists' opinions, attitudes and behaviors in relation with the quality of these tourist supplies.
