摘要
In today's world video surveillance is one of the most indispensable applications. Video surveillance system is deployed in shopping malls, airports, railway stations. Video surveillance has a great role in military. It includes border monitoring, military base monitoring, monitoring highly restricted zones, monitoring government premises etc. The objective is to design and develop a surveillance system which can capture, analyze the video and can track objects. Camera nodes collaborate to identify objects and only transfer the textual description along with a snapshot; possibly notifying the event of interest ensures real time response (c) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
