摘要：

The study presents the significance of Agricultural Advisory Centres (AAC) in region tourism development in Poland. On the basis of theoretical aspects referring to the issues connected with AAC functioning in the scope of rural tourism, the author presented the self-study and research results on the role of the Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Centre in moulding the tourist function in the chosen communes of the podkarpackie region. The research results allow to claim that the Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Centre has a crucial impact on the development of rural tourism in the studied region.
