Electrical and structural properties of YBaCuO oxides using melt growth process

摘要
YBaCuO superconductor with variations in the zirconium oxide content was fabricated via thermal diffusion to study the changes in its electrical properties and superconducting behavior. The critical temperature of the YBaCuO superconductor was not predominately dependent on the zirconium oxide content, but the addition of zirconium oxide formed a pinning center for the magnetic flux due to a ZrO2 phase, effecting a change in the electromagnetic properties of the YBaCuO superconductor. This result indicates that magnetization is proportional to the number of magnetic flux lines passing through the superconductor.
