摘要
We monitored whole-body cooling concurrently by both esophageal and rectal probes. Esophageal temperature was significantly higher compared with simultaneous rectal temperature during cooling, with a temperature gradient ranging from 0.46 to 1.03 degrees C (median, 0.8 degrees C; IQR, 0.6-0.8 degrees C). During rewarming, this temperature difference disappeared. (J Pediatr 2013;162:208-10).
