A critical review of on-line quality analyzers

This paper critically reviews the various available on-line analyzers (OLA), which are used in the mining industry for quality control. The paper presents the nuclear science principles governing the operation of various types including typical applications of the OLAs presently used in the mining industry. A review on the relevant nuclear science fundamentals and terminology is also provided in the Appendix. The paper is expected to be a major source of information on the OLAs for use in the mining and mineral industries.
