CURRENT PROBLEMS IN BUILDING THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY

The 21st century should have the characteristic of knowledge society. The main characteristic of this period is utilization and acquirement of knowledge. This system of knowledge-based society is based on a synthesis of intellectual and physical labour. The main source of value and economic growth in knowledge-based economy is the human mind. While in the recent period were the physical labour and manual skills the basic source of productivity, value and economic growth now in the knowledge-based economy intelligence and intellectual labour have replaced physical labour as Oa fundamental source of the value and profit. This significant change allowed utilising complexity of human intellect and creative competence. This change enables to use human intelligence and creative ability.
