A Pushouts Based Knowledge Merging Method Knowledge Reorganization in Emergency Decision-making Support

摘要
There is an increasing need for emergency decision-making support on the acquisition of background knowledge. However such background knowledge decision-makers needed is usually distributed with the form of heterogeneous knowledge pieces that should be reorganized according to the scenarios of occurrent emergency problems. Knowledge pieces, like microview ontologies, are defined as typed categories. We present a categorical Pushouts based knowledge merging method to achieve the automatic and semantics oriented reorganization on knowledge pieces. Drawing on the experiences of V-alignment and W-alignment, These Pushouts of functors are glued via merging common diagrams from typed composition rules to yield bridge knowledge pieces, and this successive process is recursive to a single, merged knowledge piece.
