摘要
It needs to track the maximum power point for enhancing the output power of the photovoltaic power generation systems. Perturbation and observation(P&O) method is one of the control algorithms to realize maximum power tracking, which has extremely wide range of application because its tracking method is simple, the control circuit is easy to digitize and it is not strict to the accuracy requirement of sensor, etc. Comparing with traditional constant-step perturbation and observation method, which has disadvantages of power oscillation and slow tracking speed, this paper presents an improved method. The system is established in Matlab/Simulink, and the simulation results show that this method can track the maximum power point of the photovoltaic array quickly and accurately and the power oscillation is feeble.
