摘要
This article is a brief overview of the land transportation link between Europe and the Indian subcontinent via Central Asia and the South Caucasus and Turkey. An emerging need for greater continental transit in Eurasia has been stressed upon apart from dealing with China's strategy for connectivity, prospects for the 'Southern Corridor', and that continental transportation should be part of the strategic calculation of the governments and private sectors of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
