摘要
13 three-dimensional models were reviewed for application to the Duwamish River-Elliott Bay system in Seattle, Washington. The models were selected based on responses to a "Request for Information", and their abilities to simulate river and estuarine hydrodynamics, sediment transport of different sediment classes, and contaminant transport and fate, including water column-sediment processes. To "level the playing field", and minimize the risk of misinterpreting different levels of documentation, each author was invited to complete a questionnaire on the different aspects of the modeling system. The desired model features and the results of this information search are presented here as comparative tables.
