摘要
The nonlinear dynamics phenomenon of a Power Factor Correction (PFC) boost converter is explored through this paper. A current mode control scheme is chosen for this purpose. The nonlinear behavior of the circuit is experimented through simulation methods. The dynamics of the system is investigated through iterative map techniques. The stability of the system is focused through the selection of the parameter ranges such that it operates in periodic regime. Two phenomena are detected in the paper, period doubling bifurcation and chaos. A ramp compensation technique is proposed to suppress chaos.
