摘要
The Fourth Industrial Revolution, also known as industry 4.0, is changing the way businesses operate and society performs in the environments in which they are forced to compete. The convergence between the automation of industrial processes and daily tasks with information technologies, allows improving operations, reducing costs, improving the quality of life and improving the quality of processes. The connection of industrial and domestic devices to the network makes it possible to extract and control data in real time, technologies like Big Data, artificial intelligence, IoT, Information Technologies and Robotic operating machines becomes great allies and pillars of Industry and Society 4.0. This new challenges today, allow the analysis and management of the data to lead to the optimization of the different industrial, domestic and energy processes. Robots as important elements in intelligent manufacturing and domestic service, acquire big importance as well as its applications. Today there are factories of manipulative robots manufactured by other robots and manufacturing plants operated by robots that can learn processes and with reconfigurable capacity. An intelligent robot is a machine capable of extracting information from its environment and using its knowledge of the world to move safely in a meaningful and deliberate manner. Society 4.0 is also a society with an accelerated aging index so there is a boom in using robots as auxiliaries in domestic activities, emerging the area called Service Robotics in which there are major technological challenges. Years ago the idea of having a robot capable of helping with household chores was only conceived thanks to science fiction; today is a total reality.
