Research on the Forming Analysis and Spring-back Control of the Automobile Back Beam by FEA

摘要
As a load-bearing structure, the back beam of the automobile is an important part of the auto frame. Due to the large size, surface complex, and several assembly points, the actual unloading spring-back after forming and trimming has a significant impact on the assembly quality and leading to decrease the car body stability. In this paper, numerical simulation research on the high-strength steel back beam forming defects and spring-back were carried out, by means of using sheet metal forming finite element simulation software Dynaform5.6. By optimizing the binder holder force and draw bead resistance parameters, controlling forming defects and suppressing spring-back, the smaller spring-back and high quality forming parts was obtained.
