摘要
The response of male-specific-2 bacteriophage (MS2 phage) with the concentration of 1x10(7)pfu/ml and 1x10(8)pfu/ml to ultraviolet (UV) dose was investigated to examine the inactivation effect of UV disinfection reactor on high concentration of MS2 phage. The relationship between UV dose and inactivation of MS2 phage was developed using Bayesian theory. For MS2 phage with the concentration of 1x10(7) pfu/ml and 1x10(8) pfu/ml, the expressions of UV dose-response curves were lg I = -2.708 x 10(-4) UVD2 + 8.191 x 10(-2) UVD and lg I = -2.562 x 10(-4) UVD2 + 8.476 x 10(-2) UVD, respectively, which had a significant difference (P<0.05). UV disinfection reactor had a better inactivation effect on higher concentration of MS2 phage. When the concentration of MS2 phage in water samples were 1x10(7) pfu/ml and 1x10(8) pfu/ml, UV doses were 61.23 and 59.51 mJ/cm(2), respectively, to obtain the inactivation rate of 4 log. UV dose-response curve for MS2 phage with the concentration of 1x10(8) pfu/ml can be applied for the determination of reduction equivalent dose with the range of 0-160 mJ/cm(2). The results of this study provided the information for check of the dose of the related ultraviolet disinfection reactor.
