Dynamic behaviour of a vibration tamper by multi-body simulation

摘要
In this paper, the development of a multi-body simulation model of a commercially available vibration tamper is described. It is shown that since there is no permanent contact between the tamper and the ground, while the tamper is running, the composition and consistency of the soil have a significant influence on the vibration system, particularly if the ground is composed of very elastic material. Therefore the reconstruction of the soil is of decisive importance. This article presents a solution for an improved soil model, immediately compatible to MBS-Software applications, which is operable without a time-consuming and circumstantial co-simulation.
