Electromagnetic TM Wave Propagation through a Nonlinear Metamaterial Layer with Arbitrary Nonlinearity

摘要：
Propagation of TM wave through a nonlinear layer is considered. The problem for Maxwell's equations is reduced to a nonlinear boundary eigenvalue problem. Dispersion equation (DE) for propagation constants is derived. The DE can be used for analytical and numerical study of the problem. Some numerical results are also presented.
