摘要
This paper presents an attempt to develop a model for wireless power transfer (WPT) using resonance inductive coupling over short distances with increased efficiency in comparison to simple inductively coupled coils for the same practical conditions. Non-radiative transfer technique is employed for its practical range and efficiency. With advances in WPT charging devices will be made a lot more convenient and faster as the obstacles of charging time, range, safety and cost can be easily mitigated and this also paves its way to Electric Vehicles (EV) charging which are presently gaining popularity. Charging devices may also include cell phones, medical equipment like pacemaker. The main difficulties of WPT are low efficiency and short range and this aspect with respect to the physical shape and design of coils along with strong and weak coupling is reviewed in this paper. Finally a model is proposed and implemented practically.
